Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to splash the cash in pursuit of long long term targets according to Fanatix.
The Gunners manager is looking to make the most of the fact that his North London club have paid off debts accrued by the relocation to the Emirates Stadium and with fresh sponsorship deals in place is now ready to spend big.
Top of his list of priorities are Borussia Dortmund pair Mario Gotze and Mats Hummels, two of Bundesliga’s best talents and arguably the future of the German national team to boot.

Arsene Wenger wants to be kept informed about the availability of Mats Hummels.
The Gunners are ready to challenge Manchester United for the signature of the Germany World Cup winner.
United are also keen to sign Arsenal centre-half Thomas Vermaelen, who is wanted by Barcelona, too. The Belgian, rated at £10m, will also be a free agent next summer.
But Wenger still has serious money to spend this summer and is prepared to make at least two more major signings after the captures of Alexis Sanchez, keeper David Ospina and full-backs Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy.
He wants to sign a world-class central defender if Vermaelen leaves and is aware that Hummels could become available.
Wenger möchte Hummels wohl holen falls Vermaelen gehen sollte. Somit wäre van Gaal nicht der Einzige der an ihm dran ist.

ARSENAL are preparing to launch a £32million bid for Borussia Dortmund star and Manchester United target Mats Hummels.
Ich persönlich sehe ihn, wenn überhaupt, bei einem noch größerem Klub mit mehr Perspektive.In Madrid oder Barcelona.
Rechne aber in naher Zukunft nicht mit einem Wechsel, schon gar nicht im Winter.
Außerdem muss da schon mehr als 40 Mios kommen um ihn loszueisen mMn.

Kann mir gut vorstellen, dass Hummels doch geht, wenn man eine sehr hohe Summe bekommen sollte. Für den Neustart des Kaders kann man das Geld gut gebrauchen. Matzke hat zudem heute sinngemäß betont, dass es bei Abgängen keine heiligen Kühe geben wird. Die Quelle ist zumindest nicht unseriös. Auch der seriöse Journalist Honigstein greift die Quelle auf.
